A Sneak Peek into the Future of Reality Capture

In one of the first breakout sessions of DDC 2022, speakers from BNSF, Turner Construction and DroneDeploy discussed how they’re trailblazing a path towards fully autonomous reality capture. Panel attendees were given an in-depth look at what the future of reality capture might look like, as well as a breakdown of some of the challenges and opportunities being experienced today.

Reducing Project Risk on the Ground and in the Air

With so many activities in motion on a jobsite, team members are constantly subject to safety, accountability, and scheduling challenges throughout the entirety of the build. This seemingly unavoidable aspect of the job not only affects team morale but project timelines as well. This session took a deep dive into how reality capture both on the ground and in the air can help teams manage the many moving pieces of their jobsites. Attendees heard from top industry experts about how they use reality capture technology to not just reduce risk, but create an irrefutable source of truth for all of their stakeholders.
